Upon arrival in Porto, an Onvicta private driver will transfer you to your Hotel. Check in and enjoy the hotel's facilities. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy a guided tour of the winery with wine tasting. Dinner will be at the hotel's restaurant, which uses fresh vegetables and ingredients produced in the farm.
After breakfast, meet your private driver/guide in the hotel lobby to start the day and discover the wines in Douro Valley. Start the day by visiting Quinta do Crasto, here you will have a guided tour of the winery and cellar followed by a tasting of 5 Quinta do Crasto wines. Lunch will be at Conceitus restaurant, the restaurant develops its dishes in perfect harmony with the property's wines, Quinta Nova Nossa Senhora do Carmo. After lunch, enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard dating from 1764 and the Wine Atelier, barrels room and the underground cellar, where the best lots selected by the Amorim family age.
After breakfast, the driver will take you to Quinta da Pacheca. Between the valleys of the Douro River, near the left bank, in the village of Cambres-Lamego, in the heart of the region's first Pombaline demarcation, Quinta da Pacheca, one of the most prestigious and recognized properties in the Douro Demarcated Region. Here you will have a different experience, get your “hands-on” in a culinary workshop, led by the Chef at Pacheca's Wine House Hotel. Learn all about the richness of Portuguese delicacies. Enjoy the meal you have prepared for lunch, followed by a guided tour of the vineyards and wine cellar with wine tasting. In the afternoon, enjoy a private sailing cruise on the Douro River. This is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the river. On board this sailboat, you will sail the Douro for 2 hours and witness the grandeur and beauty of the valley from a different perspective.
After breakfast and check-out, your driver/guide will be in the hotel lobby to drive you to Porto. Check-in at your 4 * hotel in one of the most charismatic streets in Porto. After check-in, cross the D. Luís I bridge and enjoy the fantastic view and head to two of the most famous and important port wine cellars. Join the port wine cellar tradition in a different experience: a visit to the cellars, with wine tasting, followed by a fado concert.
After breakfast, meet your private driver/guide in the hotel lobby, who will show you the main monuments of the city, as well as the best kept secrets and like a local, will show you the secret places of the inspiring city of Porto, lunch will be in a traditional restaurant. After the tour, return to the hotel.
Since 2005, Quinta do Vallado receive guests in it’s comfortable Wine Hotel. Initially opening the doors to the Traditional House, built in the 18th century and having once belonged to Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, it offers five recently renovated suites. This project's growing success led to the construction of a second building in 2012, made almost entirely of schist - the dominant stone in the region's soil. This new 8-room building was designed by Architect Francisco Vieira de Campos, who was also in charge of the winery's renovation project.
